Beverley Ahrensback Obituary

Beverley Ahrensback age 85 years passed away suddenly in Thunder Bay Regional Hospital on Sunday, April 15, 2012. Born in Winnipeg on February 28, 1927, Bev was a longtime member of the Port Arthur Curling Club and the Thunder Bay Country Club and enjoyed the family tradition of golfing and curling. An avid oil painter and gardener as well as master of the crossword puzzle, her friendly, helpful and kind manner was always apparent. Beverley is survived by her husband Carmon Eric "Red" Ahrensback, their sons Christopher, Jon and Andrew, and their daughter Patricia all of Thunder Bay, sister Gale Lindenthaler of White Rock, B.C., brother Glenn Smith of Calgary. A private family service will be held. Should friends so desire, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
