With broken hearts, we share that our beloved Bonnie Lynn Borsa (nee Doolittle) passed away peacefully on September 22, 2025, with her family by her side. Born on February 7, 1956, she was the baby of her family, loved deeply by her sisters Bev, Brenda (Charlie), and her brother John (Brenda). She was predeceased by her parents, Elaine and Frank, and her brother Gordon.
For 53 years, she shared her life with her husband Miles. They were truly best friends, always doing for each other in the everyday small ways. She had the patience of a saint, especially when it came to letting him golf every single day, of every summer since his retirement on top of ensuring each tee time was booked. Their marriage was not about grand displays, but about quiet devotion, loyalty, and being there for one another through all of life's challenges. Together they raised two daughters, Kim (Mark) and Bev (Pat), who were her pride and joy. Her role as "Mom" was just the beginning of the love she gave. She was the proudest "Gramma" of Paige (Jordan), Avery (Austin), Ashtyn (Landon), McKenna, Morgan, and Nicholas, and her heart grew even fuller when she became "Great Gramma" to Elaina, Colt, and Addison. She wanted so badly to meet the two new great grandbabies expected this winter, something she talked about with joy and anticipation.
Bonnie was a natural caregiver, and the heart of our family. She taught us what unconditional love looks like, and she showed it in countless ways. She always had our birthday cards ready, carefully written, tucked with a little money, and waiting, because she wanted every celebration to feel special. She cooked like no one else, with perogies and pies that will never be matched, and she filled every family gathering with warmth, laughter, and more food than anyone could eat. For her grandchildren, it was butter tarts and sugar cookies, made with the same love she poured into everything she did.
Mom was selfless, brave, and endlessly strong. For 28 years she faced cancer head-on, beating every odd with courage and grace. She worried not for herself, but for the people she loved, especially Miles, who she wanted to make sure would always be cared for. Her love for him and for all of us was boundless.
Because of her we "are". To know her was to feel loved by her. Thank you for showing us what honesty, courage, and love truly mean. We will carry that love with us forever. "Love you More"
