BRENDON KERR Obituary

BRENDON JAMES CHARLES KERR
With heartfelt sadness, the family of Brendon James Charles Kerr announces his passing on October 15th 2025 in Penticton, BC. Brendon was born in Thunder Bay on December 4th 1987 and passed at the young age of 37 after a courageous 4 year battle with cancer. There were many family members ready to greet Brendon with open arms in Heaven.

Brendon will be lovingly remembered by his parents Jim and Joyce Kerr, sister Riley, wife Cherie Morgan and children, Emerson and Easton (Penticton), as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends stretching from Ontario to BC.

From a very young age Brendon had a love of sports, especially playing hockey and baseball. He volunteered with the LU Thunderwolves Hockey Team, and the TB Bulldogs Hockey Team (SIJHL), and worked for the TB Border Cats as Clubhouse Manager.

Family was everything to Brendon and he had a very close relationship with his little sister as well as many cousins and friends - together many great memories were created. Brendon was the first one to hold Riley and from then on they had such a special bond.

Brendon's love of hockey brought him to BC where he worked with the Powell River Kings and then the Penticton Vee's, both of the BCHL. Penticton is where he met Cherie, who has the same hockey passion as Brendon did. He quickly became the dad who was cheering Emerson on at all her dance performances. Brendon was very involved in the baseball and hockey community, where he met many friends along the way. He was so proud to work with Easton's teams and cheer Easton on in the same sports he loved.

Please join us on Sunday November 16th at 2:00pm for a Celebration of Life at Current River Community Centre.
