BRIEN MOLLY Obituary

BRIEN DENNIS MOLLY
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brien Dennis Molly, who passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026, in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Born on April 4, 1948, in Fort William, Ontario, Brien lived a rich and fulfilling life filled with love, laughter, and dedication to his family and community. Brien's love for his family was the cornerstone of his existence.

He was a devoted husband to his wife, Patricia, and a loving father to his daughters, Sherry (George) and Elaine (Phil), his son, Dennis (Erin), stepchildren Debbie (Joe), Rhonda (Reg), Keith, Ross, and Becky (Colin). His void will also be felt by his siblings, Sharon (Henry), Brenda (Roger), Glenn (Dorothy), Terry, Reg (Rhonda), brothers-in-law Edward and Norm, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family shared an unbreakable bond filled with support and mutual admiration. Brien's faithful dog, Maggie, was also an integral part of the family, providing companionship and joy. Brien is also survived by his grandchildren David, Dale, Danny, Jack, Isaac, Sara, Jacob, Isaac, and Alex. He cherished every moment spent with them and instilled in them values of kindness, perseverance, and the importance of family. Predeceased by his parents Dorothy and John Molly, brother Gary, sisters Wendy and Linda.

In his professional life, Brien was a respected figure in the Dairy Industry, where he worked for several decades. A man of many interests, Brien was passionate about hockey, a sport that was a significant part of his life. He volunteered tirelessly for many years with the PAMHA and Robin's Tournament, where he contributed his time and talents to ensure the events were a success. He enjoyed the thrill of the game, whether playing, coaching, or cheering from the stands. His love for the outdoors was evident in his enthusiasm for camping and travelling with his loved ones. Stock car racing was another of Brien's interests, and he could often be found at the racetrack, engrossed in the excitement of the chase.

As we mourn the loss of Brien, we also celebrate a life well-lived- a life that touched so many and left a lasting legacy of love, friendship, and community spirit. Brien's memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of those who knew him. As he spent countless hours enjoying coffee with Zane, we hope they are enjoying a cup together again. As per Brien's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral at this time. If friends so desire, donations can be made to Thunder Bay Humane Society.
