It is with a heavy heart that the family of Bruce Henry Magill, 63 years of McKenzie Lake, Ontario announce his sudden passing on March 20, 2012. Bruce lived his life to the fullest with numerous family and friends across Canada and other connections around the world. Although born in Sudbury he was raised in Hamilton and went on to live in Whitehorse, Murillo, Thunder Bay and finally settled in Armstrong, ON. Here he found his paradise on MacKenzie Lake. Bruce worked in many places but was most commonly found behind the wheel of a truck or piece of heavy machinery. As a young man he operated his own trucking company and then went on to work for a forest product company in the Armstrong area and more recently was semi-retired, enjoying time with family. Bruce truly enjoyed fishing, hunting, scuba diving, puttering around the house and yard, playing with his grandchildren, CBC radio (Stuart McLean & the Vinyl Cafe) and could be found on a bright sunny day relaxing and entertaining all who visited on his deck at MacKenzie Lake. Bruce was a bold, vibrant and good hearted man. A man of strong conviction who never let the word no deter him from finding an innovative solution. According to Bruce there was always a solution to be found. He had a love for life; enjoying the thrill of everything he could. Life was his adventure. Although struck with many hurdles in life, Bruce either found the good in a situation or something humorous to lighten the load. Bruce leaves behind his wife Susan (nee Brizard), sons, Jason (wife Yolanda), Corey (Meika), Waylon (Jessica), son in-law Sandy and four grandchildren, Lenette, Lucas, Isaac and Sequoia. Loving siblings Chris (wife Gina), Marissa (Jim), Kate (Denis), Leonard (Debbie), Ginny (Jack), Reeni and many nieces, nephews and countless friends. Bruce is predeceased by his parents Bea (nee Fluvian) and James Magill in Minden, Ontario, first wife Carole (nee Porter) and daughter Louanne MacKenzie (nee Magill).
