CALVIN BOUR Obituary

CALVIN BOUR
It is with great sadness the family of Calvin Bour announce his passing in the early morning of September 8, 2024. Calvin was born March 11, 1940 to Helen & Albert Bour. He grew up in Murillo along with his brother Robert on the family farm. He met, & married Patricia Garton in 1965, & shared 47 years of marriage until her passing in 2012. They purchased their family home on Maki Road where they raised their 3 children. Calvin is survived by his kids, David (Lucy), Tammy (Gord), & Dawn (Mark), & his 7 grandchildren: Jeffrey (Cassandra), Danielle, Stephen, Jamie, Noah, Charlotte, & Tyson. His grandchildren were his pride & joy. Given the opportunity to take them fishing brought smiles to his face, unless the kids out fished grandpa. The fishing trips always ended with an ice cream. In following with dad's wishes, there will be a Celebration of Life in his honour at the Murillo Community Centre on Saturday, September 14, 2024 between 1-4pm. Interment of ashes will take place at a later date at Stanley Hill Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Simpler Times Cremation Centre, 575 Central Avenue, Thunder Bay.
