Mr. Carl Alain D'Amours age 41 years, a resident of Thunder Bay passed away unexpectedly at the T.B.R.H.S.C. on Sunday, November 6, 2016. Born in Winnipeg, MB, Carl moved to Thunder Bay at the age of nine where he has lived ever since. He worked as a Territory Manager for Hood Logging Equipment Canada. His children meant the world to him and he found great joy spending time with them. Carl will be lovingly remembered by his wife Melanie, children Nicholas and Noah, siblings Alain, Dany (Tammy), Serge (Lori), Martine, Martin and mother Blanche. Numerous other relatives also survive. He was predeceased by his father Marius and brother Yvan. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 11, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of the Sargent & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 21 N. Court Street with Rev. Rey Ronquillo presiding. All services will be complete in the Chapel. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday evening from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the Sargent & Son Chapel. We were so sad to hear of Carl's passing. Though we didn't know him well, we remember him from riding motorcycles with him and from Nicholas playing hockey for a season with our son. Carl was always friendly and kind. He clearly loved his family. Our thoughts are with his loved ones during this difficult time.
Sincerely,
Brian, Katie and Nathaniel Ostrom

My heart breaks for my Dad and Grandma as well as his wife, children and siblings. Much too young. My memories of my uncle are of the sweetest, most kind-hearted person. This is a great loss. Sending love and sympathy to you all. Xo

Of all the sad things we may endure
the saddest is in saying farewell brother
brothers may die but they live on
in our heart and mind
to have had a brother like you
is to have experienced a very special gift
there is a special place in our heart
for the one we call little brother.
I love you , baby bros
