Carol, it literally took my breath away to see this. I was near speechless, and I'm sure that's hard to believe after my month at TBRHSC! Lol Thank you so much for being such a wonderful kind nurse to Shalese and I during our stay there. We will never forget it. It has been my pleasure getting to know you, you were a fantastic nurse, momma and granny ;) know you will never be forgotten... Much love and Jesus' blessings....

To Kathleen; Shannon; Matt, Dani and family, along with all of Carol's extended family... my thoughts and prayers are with you all-Carol was such a caring, compassionate, strong and loving woman, mother, grandmother, sister, Auntie and one of the best in the nursing world. I have worked with Carol for a number of years since the 2 hospitals amalgamated and I was so blessed to have known her and worked side by side with her. I will always treasure the memories and enjoyable times we have shared in the work force. Her smile was so comforting. She could make us all laugh at just about anything-she had the best stories to tell and had us all in stitches-we can always trust that Carol would lift our spirits on any given day...she was like a mom to all of us-and to her tiny patients families-She was respected by everyone-Heaven sure is lucky to have her, even though it is difficult for us all to say good-bye. Rest in peace and be joined in the love of Kevin's wings. You have touched so many lives and have been an inspiration to all who have know you. Your family now has a very special Guardian Angel to guide them as they transition and move forward in their lives.

Matt, Shannon, Kathleen, and families, I am so saddened to hear of you Mom's passing. When my husband, Gary died I received a lovely card with a note from her, and I have received a Christmas card from her every year since. It meant so very much to me. She was such a beautiful person, inside and out. I know she suffered greatly these past weeks and months, but I'm sure having you there by her side gave her great comfort! Wish all of us here in Newfoundland could be there with you at this sad time. Both your Mom and your Dad hold a special place in my heart, I have very fond memories of them. They are now finally reunited with each other in Heaven. RIP Carol and Kevin! Together forever!(((HUGS)))
