Christopher Murphy Obituary

Mr. Christopher (Mickey) Murphy passed away peacefully at Lakehead Manor on Thursday, November 10, 2016. Mickey was born in Fort William, Ontario on January 12, 1937. He married Wanda on June 20, 1964. Mickey worked at Great Lakes/Resolute for many years. He attended St. Patrick's Cathedral and was affiliated with the Moose Lodge. Mickey enjoyed family outings, watching TV and trips to the casino. He was a big fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and watching family members at the rink. Survived by his wife Wanda, son Darrin and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was predeceased by his parents Chris and Marcella and brothers Paddy and Jimmy. As per family request no service will be held. A private family interment will take place at Sunset Memorial Gardens at a later date.
