Colleen McLeod

Colleen McLeod age 56 passed away peacefully, surrounded by loving family on Friday, March 30, 2018. Mother to Jason McLeod (Amanda) and grandmother to Carter McLeod. She is also survived by her mother Maurleen McLeod, stepfather Henry Beaudry and brother Paul (Lynn). A bit of a recluse by nature, Colleen was happiest enjoying nature's wonders – the call of a loon, flowers blossoming in the summer and a sauna, followed by a jump in a lake. A life-long Boston Bruin fan created a friendly rivery with her son, a Montreal fan. Colleen suffered from health complications in the final decade of her life, that left her wheelchair bound in the final years. She enjoyed listening to music and her occasional trip out was usually motivated to take in a live show accompanied by friend Terry Smith. Cremation will take place, the burial of her remains alongside her father Gary McLeod will be scheduled at a later date, with a memorial service.
