DANIEL MITCHELL Obituary

DANIEL JOSEPH MITCHELL
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Daniel Joseph Mitchell. Danny passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, leaving behind a legacy of love, service, and pride. He is survived by his loving wife Vivian Paterson, his son Cameron Mitchell (Julieann), daughter Tracy Wilburn (Kirk), his brother Tom Mikulinski (Lynn), and his cherished grandchildren Cole, Patrick, Rachael, Charlie, Regan, Hope, and great-granddaughter Hannah. Dan proudly served as an officer with the Ontario Provincial Police from 1965 to 1995, a career he held with honour and dedication. He especially treasured the weekly Wednesday gatherings with his fellow retired OPP officers a tradition that brought him great joy and camaraderie. One of Danny's favourite places was Pelee Island, Ontario. He enjoyed the peace and beauty of the island, it was a place that brought him true happiness and calm. More than anything, Danny was deeply proud of his children and grandchildren, always celebrating their accomplishments and milestones. He will be remembered for his quiet strength, unwavering support, and the deep love he had for his family and community.

I´m so sorry to hear about Dan, I worked with Dan at the airport and have kept in touch with him after he left. I have so many fun memories of Dan while stopping by the gift shop, with his jokes and stories. My condolences to the family, of which he shared beautiful moments with Vivian and the family. I will always remember him. I´m very lucky to have been his friend. He has always meant a lot to me. I will cherish my memories with him. Xo
