DANIEL MONTGOMERY Obituary

November 4, 1962 ~ May 5, 2024 Don't grieve for me for now I'm free, I'm following the path God laid for me. I took his hand when I heard him call, I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day, To laugh, to love, to work or play Tasks left undone must stay that way, I've found that peace at the close of day. If my parting has left a void, then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, Oh yes, these things I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish for you the sunshine of tomorrow My life's been full, I've savored much, Good friends, good times, my loved one's touch. If my time seemed all too brief, Don't lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your heart and peace to thee, God wanted me now, He set me free.
The family of Daniel Montgomery would like to invite you to a funeral service at the Westfort Chapel on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at 1pm.

To the family of Daniel Mongomery, I'm so sorry for your loss. I only met Daniel once, just a few weeks ago, I just got a new puppy and on the first day that I got her, I took her out to relieve herself and she ran away from me, and ran under a neighbors car, and I could not find her. Daniel came over to me and asked me what was wrong, as he saw me out looking and calling for my dog. Right away he asked me the dogs name and I told her name was Cookie and immediately he and his wife started to help he look for her. He didn't know me from Adam before that, yet he took the time to help me look for my dog. Him and his wife drove all around the neighborhood to try and find her. A couple of hours later we found her under the parked car she originally ran other. Cookie peeked her head out and Daniel laid flat on the ground and grabbed her for me, he took her in his running truck to warm her up. What a kind generous thing he did for me and my dog. I was shocked to lean of his death today. My thoughts and. Prayers are with his family at this difficult time. Please accept my sincere condolences. May he rest in peace. John Vigliarolo
