Danielle Rose Spoon of Fort Frances, Ontario passed away suddenly in Thunder Bay, Ontario in the early hours of Monday, January 7, 2008. Dan Rose was born and raised in the Fort Frances area and was well known for her drive in sports, academic abilities and her beautiful smiles and laughs. Danielle could turn any situation into a moment worth remembering. If you were a friend of hers, you were there for life. Dan Rose enjoyed writing poetry, singing, going out clubbin' and spending hours "gettin did up. " She also enjoyed the moments with her children, her mom, step-dad and her little sisters. Talking, laughing, joking or just hanging out, these are moments we can all remember. Anyone who knew Dan Rose knew what she was like, she loved life and everyday she was here, was a gift from the Creator. It's tragic to lose someone we all love so much. It's going to be hard to let her go but Danielle Rose would not want us to grieve forever and not move on. She would want us to let her rest and learn from this. Danielle wouldn't want this to happen to her friends and family again. She wouldn't want this for anyone else. If you knew Dan Rose, please remember her smiles and laughs and every moment we shared with her. Funeral services for Miss Spoon will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2008 at 12:00 at Jenkens Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. on Saturday. I know this girl Who's got brown hair And deep dark pools for eyes Her skin is not dark or tan But simply crisp and fair She isn't in a magazine She is not on TV This girl I know is more than that She is in my heart and on every wall I see She does not judge, she is not cruel She is forever more than that This girl I know cannot be dissed Or taken like a fool This girl I know has become a woman She has taken a higher step in life With all her gifts, I'm sure she will summon The woman we know and love so much has Gone and flown away We'll remember her love and smiles and laughs To help and guide us through each day.
