DARRELL WATTS Obituary
DARRELL HUGH WATTS October 24, 1959 - April 21, 2025
It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Darrell Hugh Watts on April 21, 2025, at the age of 65. Born in Victoria, British Columbia, and a long-time former resident of Thunder Bay, Ontario, he most recently made his home in Three Fathom Harbour, Nova Scotia.
Darrell was a very proud and loving father to Nicole Watts, Valerie Watts-Dafoe (Josh), and Carolyn Watts (Ray). One of his greatest joys came from being "Grandpa" to his grandchildren, Cecilia and Wells Dafoe.
Darrell will be fondly remembered for his big heart and the simple pleasures he cherished - cheering for the Toronto Maple Leafs, enjoying a cold Alexander Keith's, spending time outdoors fishing and hunting with friends, and the freedom he found riding his motorcycle.
Darrell is survived by his mother, Eleanor Watts, his siblings Geordie, Gwen, and Jim Watts, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends. He was predeceased by his father, James.
In keeping with Darrell's wishes, there will be no formal service. Private gatherings for family and close friends in Thunder Bay and Nova Scotia will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those who wish to honour Darrell's memory are invited to make a donation to Bikers Down Society or Toys for Tots Canada.
