It is with deep sadness the family of Darryl Stubbings, age 32 years, announces he passed away unexpectedly on September 30, 2011. Darryl was a life long resident of Thunder Bay. He attended St. James Public School, and graduated from Hillcrest High School. Darryl was recently employed with Balmoral Dental Designs. In the past, Darryl worked to support the family business and ran a successful landscaping company. He loved to cook and spent as much of his summers as he could perfecting his golf swing. Darryl was also a gifted musician and spent many evenings jamming with close friends. Darryl had a unique ability to have a profound effect on the lives he touched. He will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Tom and Beverely Stubbings; siblings; Tiffany and Jeffrey; niece Abigail; nephew Daniel, and his cat, "Booker". His two closest friends, Ron Lamothe and Ange Daykin, also share in this time of loss with Darryl's family. Darryl is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 8th, 2011 in the Chapel of Harbourview Funeral Centre, 499 North Cumberland Street, officiated by Rev. Barbara Fugelsand. Visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the time of Service.
