It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mr. David Patrick Eden, age 66 years on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 in the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.
David was born March 3, 1950 to parents William and Patricia (Chalifoux) Eden in Port Arthur. David was a man of EVERYTHING music. He enjoyed playing the guitar and singing with and for his friends. He loved going to local concerts in town, especially the “Hot Rods”. David was an avid bowler and absolutely appreciated good food from many different restaurants. When not enjoying music, David worked as a bus driver for the City of Thunder Bay for over 25 years. We will miss his love for socializing and always being the life of the party.
David is survived by his sister Sylvia (Wayne) Pichette, his nieces Jeannie-Lee (Matthew) Lierman, Gloria Pichette and Aliya, his great nieces and nephews, Jessica, Lily, Tyler and Christian as well as aunts, cousins and the Henry family.
David is predeceased by his loving with Carol Anne (2003) and by his parents William and Patricia Eden.
Funeral Services for the late David Eden will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at St. Andrew's R.C. Church, 294 Red River Rd. with Fr. Antoni Fujarczuk officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Diabetes Association of Thunder Bay or to the Charity of your Choice. Online condolences may be made at www.sargentandson.com
The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside still waters; He restores my soul. He leads me in right paths For His Name's sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I fear no evil; For you are with me; Your rod and Your staff - they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies, You anoint my head with oil; My cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life. And I shall dwell in the house of the Lord My whole life long. Psalm 23:1-6

I was very saddened to learn of David's passing. I have many fond memories growing up with him and knowing his entire family. He truly had a love for music at a very young age and he will entertain again above.
