Our deepest condolences and compassion to the Gatherum Family in this time of sorrow.
The Green Acres neighbourhood was very fortunate to have been blessed with a family that instilled great belief in family, love of life and friendships´s.
We will always carry with us the life shared between our families and the positive memories created between them.
From their early days as kids our parents were very fortunate to share experiences and create great memories together as they ventured through life revolving around work, sports, family and social events.
Your pain and grief will subside but never be forgotten, knowing that Davey is at peace and his zest for life is carried on in all of us. We treasure that our lives were shared with each other and our families have grown together.

My earliest recollection of hockey at the FW Gardens and Davie was the fantastic goalie. Over the years I enjoyed seeing him with Anne - superb athlete and ever a warm, kind gentleman.

My heartfelt love and condolences to the Gatherum Family at this very sad time. You were blessed with a wonderful Husband and a terrific Dad. Being next door, on East Bay, at Amethyst, we were blessed with an incredible friends. I have so many happy memories of the Gatherums and their wonderful laughs...

My Dad spoke of Dave often and we would sit at the table enjoying the stories and then we would laugh, all over again. There really is nothing better than true friends, shared life experiences and honest laughter.
If all had gone according to our plan, with my dear Dad.,...Cam and I were going to make our home next door to Laurie. Peace and love while you savour the wonderful memories that you cherish, of your "Dave"!!!

Dave was a great gentleman, and a real inspiration for me. He was my mentor during my Junior hockey days, and I give him a lot of credit for any success I had in my pro hockey career. Our deepest sympathy to the Gatherum family at this sad time. Our thoughts are with you all.

This is a very sad time for Vicki and i although not a shock we wanted him here for a longer period of time. While groing up as a teenager Davey was so instrumental in my life from discussing life's troubles to hockey problems. He was as if he were my second father since mine had passed at my age of 12.No matter what was going on Davey had the answers and gentleness to help me.My hockey carreer was a definite result of his encouragement nad many fond memories of junior hockey with pa NORTH STARS and the Marrs.I love you Davey and may all your family remember you as a kind gentle lovable human being.God bless you and your family at this time of celebration.
