DAVID NICHOLSON
We are saddened to announce that David Nicholson passed away unexpectedly at the age of 59 on February 14, 2025 in Kingston, Ontario. David is survived by his partner Wendy Armstrong, his daughter Melissa, father Gordon Nicholson (Evelyne), sister and brothers Karen Lacosse (Chris), John Nicholson (Samantha), Benhard Thompson, nephews and nieces Kyle (Dina), Jacob (Tesa), Claire (Alex), Rachel, Audrina and Benett. Numerous other relatives also survive. Dave had many talents. He was a researcher, historian, genealogist, writer, indexer and a watercolour, acrylic and photography artist. He had a passion for cycling which he shared with Wendy. His cycling adventures took him to Cuba, France and Portugal. He will be remembered for his fun-loving and engaging personality. Dave will be greatly missed. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at Current River Community Centre in Thunder Bay at 1:00 pm. If friends desire, donations may be made in his memory to the Thunder Bay Museum or Thunder Bay Public Library.
