Dear Dave,

You are one of the greatest men I ever knew and I was privileged for you to be the best man at our wedding. Not a day goes by where I don't think of and mourn for you. I sincerely apologize for letting you down with regards to my personal life. I know you are watching from above and guiding me, maybe you are even somewhat amused by the many unorthodox ways I am trying to repair my life. Every thought gets lost in translation, every move I make or word I say pushes them farther away. Dave, I have done everything they have asked of me for the most part. I am physically healthier than ever. I have received counselling in a variety of ways, including a certificate of completion. I know you're watching Dave. You once told me years back that sometimes absence can make the heart fonder. Only time will tell. As I love you as a friend forever, even after forever, I will love life forever, after forever. I really miss you Dave.
