Deborah Schmidt Obituary

Mrs. Deborah Schmidt age 45 years of Brock St passed away peacefully in McKellar Hospital with her family by her side on Friday April 19, 2002. Debbie was born and raised in Westfort, the youngest of a large family. Her love of life and family showed in everything she did, a smile always on her face. Her friends knew her for her outgoing and generous nature. During the winter months she enjoyed going to the Army and Navy on Fridays for a game or two of darts with friends, or going to Robins for coffee with the Westfort Coffee Club. Debbie was an avid collector of decorative bells and bird houses. Debbie is survived by her loving husband Rick, mother Merle, brothers Henry ( Norma), Wayne (Joyce), Gordy (Dianna), Harvey (Carolyne) of Fort McMurray, Raymond (Linda), and Kenny (Shirley), sisters Gladyis (Philip), Grace (Melvin), and Myrtle (Reg). Also survived by her brothers in law Kenny and Denny, sister in law Shelley, step-son Rick Schmidt, grandchildren David and Stephanie and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her father John Everett, brother Bob Everett, Aunt Mildred Prouty, cousin Salley Prouty, father in law Walter Schmidt, and mother in law Charlotte Schmidt.
