So sad to hear of Denis's passing. I knew him many years ago at Mt. McKay Ski Area. We all grew up living at the hill then.

Denis, a man who will be missed. I worked with him for years and when I had my own kids I realized I took a lot of what I learned from him through his fatherhood and applied it to my own family and we are better for it. Not to mention he was a talented millwright and had the great gift of being a genuinely good man. If he likes you he liked you forever. Never forgotten, he is 100% skiing the slopes wherever he is now.

Shocking to see this today as learning weeks ago. Denis is someone who always had time for a chat, a beer, a laugh or a story. This was a man who had shining pride for his kids and never stopped beaming when talking about them. I knew him through work and skiing but no matter where we ran into each other it was always a great reunion, his happiness in his family was evident in his excitement at what Janet was growing in the garden, what V had tattooed, what he and Joey were currently bingeing in feasting. The world has truly lost a great man.
