Diane Darlene Howell

1947 - 2021

Diane Darlene Howell passed away peacefully with her husband by her side February 18, 2021at St. Joseph's Hospital, after a long courageous battle. Diane was born 1947 in Duluth, Minnesota to Larry & Carol Kelly. She graduated from Duluth High School. In October 24, 1986, she married Boyd Howell. They settled in Neebing, ON. Diane loved to cook, garden and planting flowers and enjoyed looking after the animals on their hobby farm. Diane loved the outdoors. She enjoyed many canoe trips in the wilderness. She loved to fish and always claimed to catch the MOST FISH. She also loved to watch the Minnesota Vikings. Diane was a very caring and loving person. She is survived by her husband Boyd, daughter Christine Rodenwald (Bob); brothers-in-law Blair Howell (Carol), Shawn Howell (Adonis) and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents Larry and Carol Kelly, sisters Rosemary, Patricia and Sharon, father-in-law and mother-in-law Felix and Gabriella Howell. A Celebration of Life for friends and family will be held at a later date. If friends so desire donations to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
