Dickson Harkness Obituary

1918 - 2002The family of Alice Harkness announces, with sorrow, the pasing of a loving husband, dear father and proud grandfather, W. Dickson 'Dick' Harkness, on Wednesday, June 12th, 2002 at Wilson Memorial Hospital in Marathon. Born in China, Dick spent most of his working life in Northwestern Ontario. He is survived by his wife Alice; daughters Anne & Judith; grandchildren Joseph & Gillian; brother Harold of Kingston and many friends. A funeral ceremony was held at St. John's United Church in Marthon on Friday, June 14th. Officiating at the service were Rev. David Guiliano of St. John's United Church and former St. John's minister, Rev. Anne Beattie-Stokes."
