Donald Rajala Obituary
Mr. Donald Sulo Rajala, aged 62 years, passed away unexpectedly at home on March 4, 2006. He was born June 9, 1943 to Lila and Sulo Rajala and had great memories of his young boyhood in South Gillies. He was married for 40 years to the love of his life, Ricki, who he married on September 25, 1965. Together they raised three fine sons of whom he was very proud. Don was a master electrician by trade and was self employed most of his working life. He had a very inquiring mind and always loved a challenge. He was an avid reader and had a terrific sense of humour. He belonged to several organizations over time and was an anonymous donor to many causes. He is survived by his wife Ricki, his sons Marty (Crystal), David (Valerie) and John (Susanna); grandchildren Victoria, Jessica, Brooke and Tucker; sisters Lynn Rajala of Thunder Bay and Joanne McNiece of Mississauga as well as their families. He was predeceased by his father Sulo, his mother Lila and his infant brother Robert. As per Don's wishes there will be no viewing or funeral service. Donations may be made in his memory to Camp Quality, P.R.O. Kids or any local charity of your choice."
