DONALD TAMS Obituary
DONALD RICHARD TAMS Donald Richard Tams, born November 25, 1951, passed away unexpectedly at TBRHSC on January 09, 2026. Survived by his wife of 50 years, Christine (Maydanski), daughter Tracey (Beda), Jason and grandchildren, Spencer and Alexis Beda. Daughter, Melanie, Jason (Jonassen) granddaughter Mackenzie (Jonassen). Daughter Cindy (Richards), Mike and grandson Colton Richards and son Scott. Nephews, Jeff, Jesse and Jeremy. He was predeceased by his parents William & Senja Tams, his twin brother Denis and brothers Leslie, Tommy and a brother whom they lost in infancy. Donald spent the majority of his working years at Abitibi Price working in the Sulphite Plant. Once the mill closed, he began working at Northern Woods. After, a short 6 months he was injured on the job, impairing the use and mobility of his left arm. His injury took a toll on him and he did not return back into the work force. He was 42 years old. Through the years, he enjoyed fishing and many bon fires with friends and family, and numerous holiday dinners with his brothers out in Kam. Donald had a little special place in his heart when Colton would call him all excited to tell Papa all about his adventures. He was so proud to be able to go see him race this summer. Thank you to Bert Pera for always giving a helping hand to Dad over the years and being there for company to share a cold one with. As per Donald wishes there will be no funeral. At a later date there will a gathering for friends and family. To be announced at a later time.
