Donna Hamilton Obituary

Mrs. Donna Wynne Hamilton (nee Sutherland), age 65 years, passed away peacefully in Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, with her family by her side.

Donna was born in Fort William on December 2, 1956. Throughout the years, she worked for various companies, including Northern Reflections, Reid's Countrywide, Jeff's At Work, and C&F Electronics. She enjoyed playing darts, camping, bonfires and working in her flower garden. Above all else, family and friends were the most important to Donna. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Donna will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Jennifer; son Lee; siblings John Sutherland (Jocelyn), Gloria Drake (Dave), Donald Sutherland (Kim), Linda Ogden (Rob); as well as nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was predeceased by her husband of 35 years, Gary and her parents David and June Sutherland.

As per Donna's wishes, cremation and a private family celebration of life have taken place. Arrangements were entrusted to WESTFORT FUNERAL CHAPEL, 420 Gore Street West at James.

My sympathies go out to the whole family. I got to know Donna at Northern Reflections. I did a lot of shopping there and got to know her very well. I trusted her enough to tell me if what I was trying on was not a good choice for me. We became friends. She was a wonderful lady and I will truly miss her. She's with the love of her life again. Rest now Donna.
