DOREEN WHITE Obituary

DOREEN (GLENA) WHITE
Doreen White passed away peacefully on October 17, 2023 with her family by her side.

Doreen fought like a true warrior for these past few years. Her willingness to never give up touched and inspired all those who knew her.

She will be forever loved and missed by her husband Richard White, mother Lucy Glena, daughter Janelle Charry (Deen & Alinah), sons Ryan (Megan, Lucas & Tyler) and Trevor (Danyka & Abby), brother Jim (Trish), nephew Brett (Erin) and niece Tori.

Doreen is predeceased by her father Tony and brother Johnnie.

Doreen enjoyed her home away from home - "Sunnyville" and loved sitting around the fire with her Brava and lemon. She enjoyed throwing parties for everyone she loved - birthdays, holidays, you name it! From the food to the décor you wouldn't want to miss it! Her most favourite things were her cats Tango, Charlie and Brody.

Almost everyone who has contacted the family since her passing had words of how inspiring and strong Doreen was. She was a woman with a presence that brought inspiration and goodness out in people. Doreen was a woman of integrity, grace, unconditional love and was an inspiration to all of us!

The family would like to thank all of the medical staff who were involved with Doreen's care in the past few years, especially Dr. Maepeso, Dr. Telang, Dr. Stallwood and the amazing nursing staff of ICU at TBRHSC. A special thanks to Tiana and Jeff.

Please join us as we celebrate the life of our much-loved wife, mother, daughter and sister on Saturday, October 21, in the hall of Holy Cross Ukrainian Catholic Church, 415 Victoria Ave. W, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.

Donations may be made in Doreen's name to the Northern Cancer Fund at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.

Goodbyes are only for those who love with their eyes…. because for those who love with heart and soul, there is no separation.
