PATRICIA "PAT" AYLOTT (nee Bullough, nee Wood) June 27, 1938 to October 19, 2025
Eileen Patricia Aylott (nee Bullough, nee Wood) passed away October 19th, 2025, with grace and dignity and her loving family by her side. Pat was 87 years of age, born in Port Arthur, Ontario on June 27th, 1938. She was predeceased by her mother Eileen Bullough (nee Cairns) and her father Ernest Bullough. We wish to thank the staff at the Thunder Bay Regional Hospital, 2C, for their service and kindness during Pat's time there.
Pat was a caring and generous Mother to Sean Wood (Katherine) and Deborah Wood (Dale), sister of Phil Bullough (Lana) and Darlene McNeil (nee Bullough) (Mike). Grandmother to Chelsea, Dekotah (Akasha), Gracie, Erika (Dave), Rayann (Ally), and Wesely (Shann). Great-grandmother to Zander, Jameson and Dawson, of whom she had never had the privilege to meet. We would like to thank our cousins Bonnie, Christine & Geraldine Molenbroek for their love and kindness. Mom loved them dearly as well as their Mother Denise, Pat's Cousin, who was like a sister. To our extended family Ron & Kaarina Mikkola, Kevin Mikkola (Laurie), and their children Brandon, Zack, Johna, & Connor, we thank you for always welcoming Pat with open arms. A big thank you to Pat's long-term friend Cathy Arthur for her kind visits to the hospital, Mom loved her dearly. To our family at Artesian Wells Resort, she loved you all and thoroughly enjoyed her visits there. We would also like to say a special thanks to Pastor Todd Kennedy of New Apostolic Church for the kind prayer session he led at the hospital where Pat, who was attentive at that time, seemed to enjoy very much. She was a proud member of the New Apostolic Church family, whom she loved dearly and sang in the choir with her granddaughter Chelsea. She was also a member and sponsor of Al-anon where she made many more good friends. Pat volunteered for the Alzheimer Society for several years, helping where she could and published a few stories of her own, she herself developed Dementia at a late age. Pat had a very caring heart; she was generous to a fault and touched many people during her time.
Many thanks to the relatives and friends who phoned or sent messages of support during this difficult time for us. She had a heart as big as gold. We are all going to miss her so much!
Until we meet again Mom. Love you forever and always.
The family will be holding a celebration of Pat's life in 2026 and will send a notice out at a later date.
