ELDON RENAUD Obituary


Eldon Raymond Renaud born March 18, 1940 in Port Arthur, Ontario, passed away peacefully on Feb. 13, 2026 at Hogarth Riverview Manor.

Survived by wife Arlene, son Rick (Kelly), daughter Cathy (Jay), brother Garth (Nicki). Grandchildren Matthew (Chantel), Ryan, Nicole, great-grandson Bryce. Predeceased by mother Etta, father Richard, sister Cora (Ross), brother Gibb (Harriet). Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Eldon trucked for several years of his life before getting into heavy equipment followed by the used vehicle business before his retirement. He and Arlene then bought themselves a motorhome and did some travelling, wintering in Arizona a few winters. When he wasn't travelling he was flying. He loved that airplane and was never shy of giving rides to whoever wanted one.

A Celebration of Life will be at Branch 5 Legion, 229 Van Norman Street 1 p.m.- 4 p.m. on March 15, 2026.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Simpler Times Cremation Centre, 575 Central Avenue, Thunder Bay.

Eldon was a friendly person. I enjoyed working with him, finding him parts for machines. Renaud family, sorry for your loss.
