Eleanore Boyce Obituary

Eleanore Louise Boyce (nee Robbins), age 73 years, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, November 17, 2011. Eleanore was born on August 8, 1938 in Port Arthur. She enjoyed camping, cooking and yard sales where she was always able to find a treasure. She was an animal lover, her dogs and cats always had a special place in her heart. Eleanore's family was her main interest. She enjoyed spending time with them and always had her door open. Eleanore is survived by her long-time partner Ron Gravel; children: Katherine (Brian) Markic, Ernie and Denise Blaquiere; step-sons Marshall and Norman Boyce; mother Edith Robbins; sister June Gill; grandchildren: Crystal, Courtney, Rob, Shannon, Kelly and Timothy; great grandchildren: Aiden, Ariel, Tanner and Brooke-Lynn; life long friends June Lychek (Ron) and Arlene (Tom) Munn. Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. She was predeceased by her husband Edward; father Horace John "Jack" Robbins and brother-in-law Alfred Gill. Funeral Services for the late Mrs. Eleanore Boyce will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at the WESTFORT CHAPEL, 420 West Gore Street at James with Rev. Randy Boyd officiating. Private interment will follow at a later date. If friends so desire memorial donations made to Diabetes Health Thunder Bay would be greatly appreciated.
