ELIZABETH BROWN

Mrs. Elizabeth (Liz) Brown Laramee, age 57 years, resident of Marathon, ON, and a proud member of Pic Mobert First Nation (Netmizaaggamig Nishnaabeg), passed away after a long and incredibly hard-fought battle with cancer surrounded by her closest family on March 10, 2026 at the TBRHSC. Born on April 24, 1968 in Thunder Bay, ON. Liz attended Lakeview Highschool and Confederation College in Early childhood education. Liz worked as a supply teacher in White River and Pic Mobert, ON. Liz enjoyed anything and everything crafty and creative, her beloved dogs Sophie and Chloe and being Sloan's Nanny above all else.

Liz is survived by her loving husband Real; her children Aaron and Leanna (Adam); her granddaughter Sloan; siblings Conrad (Donna), Yolanda (Howard), Wendell (Bell); cousins Marlene (who was like a sister to her), Cheryl, and countless other cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family that reach far across the globe.

Liz is predeceased by her parents Edwin Gingras and Florena Brown (nee. Padgena), and her faithful dogs anxiously waiting at the rainbow bridge; Ruby, Willow, Whiskey, Baxter, Heidi and Bonnie.

Cremation has taken place. As per Liz's wishes, a celebration of life for family and friends will be held at a later date.
