ELIZABETH MAZURSKI Obituary


Elizabeth Mazurski (née Kozak) passed away peacefully on Friday, October 10th, 2025, at the age of 81. Born in Fort William, Ontario, on October 21st, 1943, she was a devoted educator who taught French and History at Westgate High School for 35 years. A lifelong learner with passions for gardening, cooking, travel, and reading, she cherished travel. Predeceased by her husband Wilbert and her parents William "Casey" and Margaret, she is survived by her daughter Lara (Johanna), her brothers Mark, Jim, and Bill Kozak, and extended family. As per her wishes, she has been cremated and will be interred with her parents at Mountain View Cemetery. There will be no public service. Donations, if desired, may be made to the Thunder Bay Public Library.
