Ellen Cook Obituary

Ellen Elizabeth Cook (nee Fulton), a resident of Thunder Bay, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. Ellen enjoyed nature and volunteering after her retirement from Kakabeka Falls Community Credit Union. She was a member of the Thunder Bay Field Naturalists and volunteered at Thunder Bay Regional Hospital as well as Pinewood Court. She enjoyed spending her summers camping at Mirror Lake Resort Campground. Ellen is survived by her loving grandchildren Shannon and Travis Cook, her sisters and their husbands Gladys and Richard Postans and Dorothy and Elwood Walberg, extended family Carrie-Lynn Couture and Christina Aitkens. She will be remembered by many nieces, nephews and cherished friends. Ellen was predeceased by her husband Stanley, their son Barry and daughter-in-law Shirley, her parents John and Nellie Fulton and brothers Thomas and James. A service of remembrance will be held at the Valhalla Inn on Monday, October 21, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. If friends so desire, donations can be made to the Exceptional Cancer Care Campaign or the charity of their choice.On line condolences at:www.jenkens-funeral.ca"
