It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ellen May Stouffer, 79 years old. Born in Dryden, she was a Nurse at McKellar General Hospital, a Professor at Confederation College and a Foster Parent for the Children's Aid Society of Thunder Bay. She was a lover of kids, cats and gardening. She was a song writer and loved to sing. She was kind and had a generous heart. Ellen was predeceased by her parents Ed and May Stouffer, and her brothers Wesley and Austin Stouffer. She is survived by her long time partner William Sedor; her daughters Shannon (Kyle McKinnon), Heather and Norma Keetch; grandchildren Stacey, Corrin and Rowan McKinnon, Nathon Alcock, Codi (Jaymi McMillian) and Tristin Keetch; great granddaughters Lexi and Charli Keetch; special friend Erin Fedours and her children; nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. A memorial service will be held at Grace Evangelical Free Church at 289 N Court St. on Wednesday, April 27th at 1:00pm. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to charities of your choice.
