It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, step-mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother Elsie May Oram, on May 19, 2024 at Southbridge Pinewood, at the age of 91 yrs. Elsie was born December 13, 1932 in Bay Du Nord, NFLD, to Fred and Fannie Strickland. She eventually moved to Cold Lake, Alberta and then to Fort William Ontario. Elsie was a member of Branch 6 Legion and the ladies auxiliary and also active in various bowling leagues throughout her life. She loved travelling and socializing, having been to Hawaii several times and various other destinations. She would visit NFLD several times to see her family and the surrounding areas so special to her in younger years.

Elsie was a resident of Legion Manor in her later years and eventually moved into Southbridge Pinewood in 2022. The family would like to thank the residents of Legion Manor and doctors/staff at Southbridge Pinewood for their care and compassion over the years.
