Eric Riegle

The family announce the sudden and sad loss in the passing of our beloved child Eric, age 12 years into the precious arms of Jesus. Eric passed away unexpectedly at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre on Monday, April 28, 2008. Born January 15, 1996, he was the son of Philip and Michele (Morrison) Riegle. Eric was deeply loved by his church family at First Baptist Church where he was a member of the Junior Youth Group. Eric played with Lakehead Express Soccer Club and was looking forward to playing this outdoor season in the Rep. Program. Eric was a grade 6 student at 5 Mile School and a grade 4 music student. An avid reader, Eric enjoyed competitive computer gaming with his friends and loved spending time training our dog Bailey. He enjoyed farm life and the great outdoors appreciating the beauty of God's creations. He will be lovingly remembered by his parents Phil and Michele, his older brothers James and Ben, grandparents John and Shirley Morrison and Terry and Lynda Riegle of Fort Erie, great grandmother Aili Junkala as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives, friends and classmates. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 5, 2008 when family and friends will gather at First Baptist Church for services at 12 noon with Pastor Peter Charlebois presiding. Interment will take place in the Morrison family plot at Mountain View Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 4 th in the Sargent Family Reception Centre (next door to the funeral home) from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. As expressions of sympathy the family respectfully requests memorials to the Dorion Bible Camp, Round Lake Bible Camp or to Saalem Bible Camp.
