EVA MISKIMINS Obituary
EVA "HELEN" MISKIMINS
Mrs. Eva Helen Miskimins, age 102, passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 19, 2026 at the Transitional Care Unit at Hogarth Riverview Manor.
Helen (better known as Toots to friends and family) was born on March 23, 1923 in Elk Lake, Ontario.
She is survived by her children, Karen Merteineit (Jerry), Cheryl Fraser (Jon), Bill Miskimins (Irene) and David Miskimins (Julie), 10 grandchildren, Melissa, Sherri, Lisa, Darin, Deb, Michael, Laura, Donevan, Derian and Ethan. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
Helen was predeceased by her husband Harold in 1991 and her daughter Sandra in 1996.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of unit 1A at the Thunder Bay Regional Hospital for all the care she received. We would also like to thank her friends at Castlegreen Co-op for watching out for her over the years.
There will not be a funeral for Helen, but if you so desire, donations may be made in Helen's name to the Charity of Your Choice.
