Faye Labelle, age 76 years, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2025 at Hogarth Riverview Manor with Family by her side.
Faye was born on October 8, 1948, at Port Arthur General. She worked 14 years as a meat wrapper for various grocery stores. In 1971, Faye met her soulmate, Michael Labelle at Dominion Grocery Store and they got married on June 22, 1976. Her first child, Susanne was born in March of 1978 with her second child, Nicole born in September of 1979. Faye was a devoted stay-at-home Mom until she started working at Weight Watchers when her girls were both going to school in 1983.
Faye enjoyed crocheting, cooking, spending time going on family trips to Winnipeg, Duluth and Minneapolis, walking and the occasional trip to Grand Portage and Hinckley. She took pride and found joy in keeping a beautiful, welcoming home-one that was always tidy and warm. She had a lifelong love for Elvis Presley's music. Over the years, Faye found happiness in square dancing, doing the Jive, polka and waltz. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Faye will be remembered for her strength, smile, kind heart and work ethic.
Faye leaves behind her husband Michael of 49 years; her children Susanne (Kim), Nicole (Michael); grandchildren Devyn, Taylor, Henryk and Cybil; sister-in-law Christine; siblings Dan, Debbie (Roger), Ron (Sherry), Allan (Trudy), Sharon (Bob) as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Faye was predeceased by her parents John and Rosemary Oger; brother John and sister-in-law Diane.
