Franco Antonio Gismondi

Nov. 21, 1955-May 4, 2021

Frank passed away Tuesday, May 4th, 2021 at the age of 65. He was born in Sora, Italy and lived there for ten years before moving with family to Toronto, Ontario. As a young adult he traveled a lot, ultimately settling in Thunder Bay. There he met his love Deborah, and they raised a beautiful family together. He worked many years with the MTO, and lastly with Emcon Services, having put 30 year's work into highway maintenance. He is survived by daughters Mary (Trevor) and Shauna; grandchildren Quentin, Ivy, Kieran, Max, Paisley, and Noah; his friend Deborah; brothers Peter (Heather) in Bowmanville Ontario and Joe in Italy; his special friend Jay whom Frank thought of like a son; and countless friends. Predeceased by his parents, Settimio and Nevina Gismondi. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will take place at a later date. Frank was gregarious and loved to get people laughing. He loved pranks and joking around. He had a "no fs given" attitude, and was also sweet, generous, and thoughtful. 
He is loved, and knew love.
