Frank Morrisseau Obituary

Frank Moses Morrisseau, 64 years, of Beardmore, Ontario passed away Friday, August 6, 2010, at the Nipigon District Memorial Hospital, Nipigon, Ontario. Frank was born on February 14, 1946 in Beardmore, Ontario. Frank was an avid outdoorsman and was an exceptional hunter. He was a proud father and grandfather and he loved the game of curling. Predeceased by his parents - Grace and Abel Morrisseau and by his brother Norval; he is survived by his four children - Frank Jr. Morrisseau (Amanda) and Abel (Kyla) Morrisseau both of Beardmore, Tessie Morrisseau (Ryan) and Blythe (Kevin) Haynen both of Thunder Bay, Ontario, by ten grandchildren - Jordan, Maverick, Paige, Madisyn, Mercada, Memphis, Maydox, Sasha, Cassidy and Kyle and by three siblings - Ronald Morrisseau, Barney Morrisseau and Willy Morrisseau all of Thunder Bay. Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. Friends may call after 12:30 P.M. on Monday, August 9, 2010 at St. Theresa's Church in Beardmore. The funeral mass for Frank Morrisseau, in the care of Elliott Funeral Home Ltd., Nipigon will be held on Monday, August 9, 2010 at 1:30 P.M. at St. Theresa's Church in Beardmore with the Rev. A. Abadines officiating. Interment will be in Pinegrove Cemetery, Beardmore. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of the Nipigon District Memorial Hospital for their care and compassion. "

Picture of Frank, outside place I was staying. Wawa, probably March, 1969. We hung around for a year and worked in the mine. I moved back to Nanaimo in April. Met Norval there a few times.

Worked and hung around with Frank in 1968/9, Wawa. A friend. and a good guy. Always wondered what happened to him. Met his brother in Nanaimo before he passed.
