The family of Garry Kald is saddened to announce his peaceful passing on Feb. 3, 2019 at the Jurvanski Hospital in Hamilton after a brief illness with his family by his side. His family was everything to him and the source of all his pride and joy.
Born in Longlac, Ontario in 1958 he had a variety of careers throughout his life. He worked in the Kimberly Clark warehouse. He owned and operated a hardware store in Norwich Ontario and was a farmhand in Garrettsville, Ohio. He spent 17 years in London, Ontario as a residential building manager. He and Kathy retired to Orillia but had recently moved to Hamilton to be close to their daughter and her family.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Kathy of 35 years. He leaves behind a devoted daughter Melissa (Sam) and their 2 children Alex and Claire. Also grieving his loss is his son Frank (Lisa) and his sister Anne-Ly Kald of Thunder Bay.
Garry was predeceased by his parents Karl and Sylvia Kald in Longlac, Ontario.
Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held later in the spring.
