Gary Wright

December 25, 1947 - April 16, 2014 Mr. Gary Allen Wright, age 66 years, passed away peacefully in Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 with his family by his side. Gary was born on December 25, 1947 in Red Lake, Ontario. He worked as a miner for many years, however carpentry was his passion. Gary loved working with his hands and spent many happy hours building furniture and completing other little projects. He also loved animals and wouldn't hurt a fly (literally). Gary was an avid pool player, but nothing was more important than spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Gary is survived by his wife, Susan; children Darrell (Jodi), Tracey (Joe), Natalie, Nicole and Annette; grandchildren Kaitlyn, Cassidy, Emma, Skylar, Zoey, Kellie, Travis, Gloria, Keegan, Keela, Ryley and Christopher and great-grandchildren Jayden and Ethan. Gary is also survived by 2 brothers, 1 sister and numerous other relatives as well as his special companion, Coco. He was predeceased by his parents Osborn and Verna Wright. As per Gary's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 2:00PM in the Elk Lodge. Should friends so desire, donations made in memory of Gary to the Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated.
