George Clark Obituary

Mr. George 'Red'Clark, age 82 years, resident of Madeline Street, passedaway peacefully in Thunder Bay Regional Hospital - General on Tuesday, May 6,2003. George was born in England on July 22, 1920 to the late John and Emily Clark.George immigrated to Canada as a child and later was employed by local construction companies as a carpenter. A member of the Carpenter's Union, he retired at agesixty-five.He spent his time fishing, was an avid hunter and also, enjoyed fixing things around his house and building small projects. George was especially fond of his precious dog 'Lucky'.George is survived by Madeline his wife of fifty-four years' daughter-in-law Linda Clark;threegrandchildren:Patrick of Calgary, Heather (Jeff) Hagberg and Terah; threegreatgrandchildren:Zachary, Brooke and Michael;sister Emily Carlson and nephewAllen Clark, bothof BC. He was predeceasedby his parentsJohn and Emily; son Ron in 1997 and his brother John.According to George's wishes, cremation has taken place. Asexpressionsof sympathy, donations may be made in George's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the charity of choice. Arrangements entrusted to Harbourview Funeral Centre, 499 North Cumberland Street."
