The family of George Arthur Riley are saddened to announce his passing on Friday, December 21, 2012, peacefully with his family at his side.George was born in Mount Forest, Ontario on February 1, 1927 , then lived his whole life is Schreiber. George enjoyed playing hockey, curling, hunting , fishing & spending time at camp.George worked & retired from Kimberly- Clark after 33 years of service. He continued to work in his own construction business in retirement.George was an active member of the Kinsmen Club & the Masons.George is lovingly remembered by his wife Joy, five children, Dan (Catharine), Sharon (Alex), Dale, Shane (Debbie) , Shannon (Greg). Grandchildren Darren, Ashley, Clinton, Julia & Jordan. Great grandchildren Vanessa, Shea, Emma , Leah, Kiersten, Ashtyn & Kai. Survived by his sister Betty, brother Bill & families.Predeceased by his parents, George & Ethel & his daughter-in-law Jewel.A memorial service will be held at St. Andrews United Church on Friday, December 28, 2012 at 11 am.Expressions of sympathy can be made to the Wilkes Terrace Long Term Care Unit at the McCausland Hospital in Terrace Bay, Ontario."
