Georgette Bray Obituary

Georgette Virginia (nee Cyr) - After a short battle with illness, Georgette Bray passed away peacefully at the Guelph General Hospital attended by her loving husband and son, on Saturday, September 8, 2007. She was 70 years of age, loving wife to Donald Bray; loving and caring mother to her son Andrew and his wife Jane Anne of Simcoe, Ontario; loving "Grandma" to Steven, Nicole and Samantha. Survived by her siblings Theresa (Eugene Cote), Robert Cyr (Annette), Margaret (Dave Pachota), Edith (Rolly Landry), Roger Cyr (Denise) and Patrick Cyr (Marie), as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son Sandy (1988), brother Norman (1976) and mother and father Florence and Armand. Georgette was a pioneer of the French Immersion Programme during her teaching years. Cremation has taken place. A private family gathering will be held Saturday, September 15, 2007. At the family's request, memorial contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, 204-21 Surrey St. W. , Guelph N1H 3R3 would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
