Gerald Abraham

October 1, 1971 ~ August 14, 2010It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Gerald (Jerry) William Abraham, age 38 years, on Saturday, August 14th, 2010 with his family by his side. Jerry succumbed from complications after his lifetime battle with Diabetes.Jerry was a loving devoted father to his son Jordan who meant the world to him, and found great joy in watching him grow up playing hockey and basketball. He loved camping, family barbecues with games, and fishing was his special place to be with nature all around. Jerry is survived by his son Jordan; father Gerald E. Abraham (Jane); mother Dorothy (John) Ten Have; Grandma Milne (98 years young); sister Krista (Kyle) Sargent; brother Scott (Kelly); nephews Charlie and Max; niece McKenzie; step-sisters and step-brothers; many dear aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; and also dear and special friends: Ann, Jody, Justin, Granny (Maggie), Cassidy and family. He was predeceased by his precious nephew Joshuah who owned a special piece of Jerry's Heart.Funeral Services for Gerald William Abraham will be held on Thursday, August 19th, 2010 at 4:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Harbourview Funeral Centre, 499 North Cumberland Street, officiated by Jim Hyder. Visitation will be held one hour prior to Service time. Cremation and a Private Interment will be held at a later date.
