ELDRIDGE
Mr. Gerald (Jerry) Edwin Eldridge, aged 83 years, resident of Thunder Bay, passed away on January 1, 2026. Jerry was born on March 31, 1942 in Alberta. He was employed as an Industrial Mechanical Millwright and retired from Abitibi in 1998. Jerry was talented in numerous ways and was an avid sportsman. Throughout his life Jerry donated time to various volunteer organizations.

Jerry is survived by his daughter Kim, sister-in-law Brenda Bortolin and her children Christopher, Laura (Alan Landversitch), Mary (Rob Paularinne), and their children Christopher, Sophia, Samuel, Violet, Hazel, Stanley, Hudson, and Eleanora. Jerry is also survived by out-of-town relatives including his sister Jarline Cymbalisty, brother Marvin Eldridge, and their families. Jerry is predeceased by his wife Maryann (née Bortolin).

Cremation has taken place. A service for family and friends will take place at a later date. If so desired, in lieu of flowers, donations to Children's Centre Foundation Thunder Bay are appreciated.

So sorry for your loss Kim. I have many found memories of times spent with Gerry when I was a young man. He was truly a talented individual with many skills.
