Moe and family - I am shocked and saddened to hear of Jerry's passing. Hope your memories will bring some comfort during this difficult time. Even though we have not seen each other for a few years, I still have fond memories of Jerry's cheeriness and his corny jokes. Thinking of you, Karen

We are sorry to hear of the loss of Jerry. I remember him in our childhood down the back lane from each other. He was a kind, soft spoken guy with a huge smile, full head of black hair very "Fonzie" like. I would see him in his grey uniform at the College and he always had time for a quick talk or joke. I will think of him fondly. Our thoughts are with the entire Soltys" Family

My sincere condolences to Maureen, Dan, Jeff and Donna. Jerry and I spent many hours together in the early years of the Lappe Volunteer Fire Department. His drive, vision and desire to be involved in the community helped put the Department on the path to become the top notch department it is today.

So sorry for your sudden loss. I have many memories of Jerry since I spent most of my teens at the Soltys's with Marlene.
When I was 14 Jerry was tormenting me by tickling me and I bumped my face on his head and knocked out my 4 front upper teeth. That resulted in me having all my teeth out. I went without teeth for the summer holidays and started Grade 9 with a new set of dentures.
