GERALDINE BRADY
Mrs. Geraldine Anne Brady, age 80 years, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2026 at Southbridge Pinewood.
Gerry was born on December 15, 1945, in Port Arthur, Ontario. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter and sister. Gerry's whole life was dedicated to her family, including watching over her younger brother Bill and raising him with devotion. She loved her husband Doug wholeheartedly and completely. She cherished her beloved son Jim and talked about him every day. She had a wide circle of friends and was actively involved in her Red Hatter's club. Gerry will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her entire family.
Gerry is survived by son Jim Devins; stepchildren Terry Brady, Sherri Biggar, Suzanne Meathre; grandsons Eric Brady, Ben Jewell; great-grandchildren Logan, Violet, Layla; brother Bill and Tami Sawchuk and numerous cousins and extended family.
Gerry was predeceased by her husband Doug Brady, mother Teresa Sawchuk, father James Devins; aunts and uncles Louis and Gertie Lepere, Dominic and Norma Lepere, Carmen and Jenny Lepere, Sarah and Vince Marsonet, Rose and Clayton Marion.
The family of would like to thank the staff at Southbridge Pinewood for their thoughtful and loving care of Geraldine.
Memorial services will be held in the R. Leino Memorial Chapel of Harbourview Funeral Centre on Friday, March 27, 2026, presided by Deacon Pasquale Coccimiglio at 1:00 p.m. Visitation for family and friends will begin at Noon. Interment will follow at St. Andrew's Cemetery where Gerry will be laid to rest beside her husband Doug and mother Teresa.
If friends so desire, memorial donations to the Thunder Bay District Humane Society or the Alzheimer Society may be made in Gerry's memory.

Very sorry for the loss of Gerry. I used to live across the street from her on Skyline. She was always such a kind person and made the best cheesecake ever. My mom and I were actually just talking about it a couple of days ago. May she rest in Peace.
