Geraldine Miniely Obituary

The family of the late Geraldine Belle Miniely (nee: Humphrey) would like to let you know that she has gone to visit the angels on Sept. 21st, 2009 at the St Josephs Hospital in Thunder Bay. Gerri as she was so commonly referred to was born in Ignace on Nov. 29th, 1937 and resided there for the past 42 yrs. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Annie Humphrey. Gerri leaves behind her beloved husband of 47 years, Marvin and the following children: Carrie (Bo) Calgary, Jennifer (Rusty) Morden, MB, Murph also of Morden and Aaron of Dryden. Her laughter and joy will carry on in her grandchildren, Kristie (Richard) of Mather, MB and her Bailey Bee (Morden, MB) and her two great grandchildren Madison and Adrianna of Mather, MB. She also leaves behind sisters Flora (Gary) Red Deer, AB, Mryna of Castlegar, BC, and brothers Ralph (Roma) of Castlegar and Abby of Aldergrove, BC. She is predeceased by her parents , Henry and Annie, sister Eunice (John), Marion and brothers, Art, Hank, Murray (Yvonne) and Gordon (Dora). She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews all of which she fondly cherished. A service will be held on Friday, Sept. 25th, 2009 at the Anglican Church in Ignace at 2:30 pm. In lieu of flower donations can be made to the Tamarack House, Canadian Cancer Society, Thunder Bay, ON. "Good night Mrs. Calabash, where ever you are" and we say a final "Goodnight Gracie" to you Mom."
